Trips, Visits and Summer Club

Throughout the Primary and Secondary school, our students enjoy opportunities to visit local sites of interest and activity centres, and to travel further afield for sporting, cultural or language development.

Our boys visit our local museums, bunkers, cultural centres such as the Opera House and Arts centre, the Underground Hospital, the zoo and sites of special interest all around the Island, and take part in overnight stays at St Aubin’s Fort, Jersey Scout Hut, and even in our very own Primary School Hall! This culminates in Year 6 with the eagerly anticipated PGL week in Normandy.

Throughout Secondary, trips are organised to St Malo, the Normandy Landing Beaches, residential language schools in locations such as Granada and Toledo in Spain, and to a huge number of UK and international locations to compete competitively as a member of our sporting teams.

Summer Club

Our summer club provides a multi-sport holiday week to entertain participants and ensure the boys involved remain fit and active. We run multi sports on the De La Salle campus from 08:00 until 11:00, with boys arriving at the school anytime between 08:00 and 10:00, lunch from 11:00 until 12:00, and afternoon activities at a broad range of Island venues from 12:00 until 15:00. Collection is from De La Salle from 15:30. Afternoon activities include beach sports, swimming, inflatable rides, seafaris, and surfing, all supervised by members of staff and a specialist activity provider.
