Student leadership is a cornerstone of the community at De La Salle College Jersey, empowering young men to serve as role models, voices for their peers, and ambassadors for the school’s core values. This tradition of leadership encourages students to develop confidence, responsibility, and a deep sense of civic duty. By taking on active roles within the college, student leaders help foster an inclusive, supportive environment where every individual can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.
We are proud of our reputation of producing well-rounded, articulate and caring young men. Our Form and House groups, sporting opportunities, and creative arts pursuits all involve opportunities for the boys to work together and to assume leadership responsibilities.
“It is very hard to explain what it truly is to be a Lasallian, unless you have shared in the journey and unless you have been part of the Community. But being a Lasallian is something I and my friends are extremely proud of, and we will continue to be Lasallian in everything that we do in the future.”
I currently study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A level with hopes of studying Maths at University. In my spare time, I play rugby both for the island and Sussex County. I also enjoy playing Chess and going to the gym. I’ve been at DLS since Reception and throughout my time here I’ve created great memories from opportunities, such as the Ski Trip and Duke of Edinburgh. I look forward to being part of SLT and giving back to the College.
I am currently studying Biology, Design Technology and Photography, and I plan to study “Data Forensics & Computer Science” at University, aiming for a career in Data Forensics in the future. I started my studies at DLS in Year 6, moving up through to secondary, completing my GCSEs then moving on to my A-Levels. As Deputy Head Boy, I enjoy being given the chance to represent and assist the school that has supported me throughout my education. I’m extremely grateful and proud to be a part of the SLT and aim to support the college to the best of my ability.
I am studying Maths, Chemistry, and English Literature, with the aim of pursuing a career in Law. Having attended DLS since Reception, I have been fortunate to benefit from a wide range of opportunities to lead, represent others, and develop both personally and academically, such as participating in the ski trip (a particular favourite of mine), numerous sporting opportunities, and community initiatives. The College has played a significant role in shaping my character and ambitions, and I am proud to represent the student body.
I am studying Maths, Chemistry and Biology, aiming to pursue a career in medicine. At de la salle, I have had many ups and downs, from injuries on the ski trip, to winning trophies at Eisteddfods. I have been given many great opportunities to grow, due to events regarding public speaking with the Debate club or Medical classes for my future. I’m proud to be part of the Senior Leadership Team and to help represent De La Salle with my peers.
