Starting school is an exciting time, but we know that it can be a little daunting too – for boys and their parents!
Ours is a happy, thriving school where the boys learn both the academic skills and the personal qualities which will serve them well throughout their life. As a key part of De La Salle College, we are proud of our traditions of providing a non-selective all-round education, a clear Christian foundation based on Lasallian values, a curriculum tailored to the needs and talents of boys, and an environment in which we celebrate our boys’ successes in whatever field they excel. We recognise the desire of every parent to want the very best for their child.
We will ensure that your son has the opportunities, encouragement and teaching he needs to develop his individual talents and gifts to the full. We are, of course, just one element in a much larger partnership surrounding and supporting your son: you, the home, the school and College, the parish, the whole island community, and our Lasallian brothers and sisters around the world are all there just for him! Our Mission Statement: Be happy in the Lord, achieve excellence, one Lasalle undivided.
From EYFS to Year 2, your son will be in the care of Mrs Hutchings, Head of Infants, and from Year 3 to Year 6 Mrs Coutanche, Head of Juniors. Together, we aim to ensure your child feels happy, supported, and confident as he takes his first steps into school life.
It is an exciting journey and one we can all enjoy together!
integrated throughout every aspect of the school and forming the basis of our ethos, and epitomised by the excellent role models that we produce.
We have a strong reputation for effective pastoral care. De La Salle Jersey is part of the Lasallian mission of being a force for change and goodness in the world.
enabling the impact of our ethos to be firmly embedded over the years that boys enjoy in our care. The impact is uniquely visible at De La Salle where Primary and Secondary enjoy shared facilities and human resources while advantaging our students with regular interaction between older and younger members of the community.
with education tailored to the very distinct way that boys learn and thrive, enjoying clear structure and routines and curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that enable boys to flourish. The ethos and inclusive nature of the school means we capitalise on the benefits of single-sex education and boys don’t feel inhibited and self-conscious.

At De La Salle, you can start your son with us from 3 years old, with our wonderful pre-Reception class.

We offer a special transition year in Year 6, where the boys integrate 50% of their time with the Secondary school, to prepare them for the move to Year 7.
De La Salle provides a unique Christian education within a caring and nurturing environment. Our long-term focus on wellbeing and values produces excellent role models and individuals equipped to achieve their ambitions.
‘Indivisa Manent’, which translates into English as ‘Undivided Remain’, is both our motto and a core principle signifying our inseparable brotherhood; our boys work together and our community supports every individual in our care.
Our ethos establishes a culture of caring for others, reaching for excellence by trying one’s best, and recognising that success can be measured academically and in a wide variety of other ways.
