Stanley House raise over £1,000 for Autism Jersey

Stanley House selected Autism Jersey for their chosen charity this year, and thanks to their wonderful fundraising efforts, they were able to present the charity with over £1,000.

The boys were very creative with how they approached their fundraising campaign, with each year group contributing in a different way. This included a tug-of-war between year 10 students and staff, in which the staff made a valiant effort to maintain their title of overall winners; a raffle devised by our year 7 students, which included various prizes, including a portrait drawn by an art teacher, blowing something up with a science teacher and having a Parisian breakfast with a French teacher; a lucky dip by Year 8, with a range of prizes to be picked; a darts contest from Year 9; many bags of sweets sold by Year 11; and a cake sale hosted by Year 12. To round the week off, the whole school enjoyed a non-uniform day on the Friday.

Well done, boys, we are incredibly proud of you  💙
